About the Airport Authority

The Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport is public infrastructure owned and operated by the Butler County Airport Authority. The airport authority is governed by a seven-member board of directors appointed by the Butler County Commissioners. These volunteer board members serve five-year terms and are responsible for the safe, efficient, and fiscally responsible operation of BTP.

The airport is a public use, general aviation, Reliever, and Regional airport listed in the National Airspace System.
